Why Liberty C ?
I’m Liberty, a tattoo artist and creative consultant based in Surrey, UK. While I work across various mediums, tattooing has become my truest form of expression - where my love for fine art and ink illustration meets the profound responsibility of leaving my clients with meaningful markings that they will carry with them every day. Loveliness that lasts a lifetime.
I began tattooing in 2023 and quickly found my calling in fine line and detailed black and grey work. There’s something deeply intimate about this style; the delicate lines, the careful shading, the way each piece becomes part of someone’s story. My work draws from the darker corners of nature: twisted botanicals, gothic flourishes, creatures caught between beauty and shadow. Dark romance made flesh, rendered in intricate dotwork and flowing detail.
But beyond the aesthetic, what drives me is the care I bring to every consultation and each session. Your skin is precious - a canvas - but it’s also deeply personal. I approach each piece as a collaboration, taking time to understand not just what you want to see, but how you want to feel when you look at it. Detail isn’t just my style; it’s my promise. Every line is considered and every shadow is intentional.
I’m a bit of a curio in the tattoo world - an unusual find. I came to this craft through fine art and illustration, which means I see each tattoo not just as body art, but as a collected piece, something rare and treasured that carries both aesthetic weight and emotional significance. That dual perspective shapes everything I do.
